Each month, Realytics showcases one of the members of its (marvelous) team.
This month, we're verry happy to introduce you to Victor, Data Analyst, and Photomontager in Chief.
My name is Victor, I am data analyst, and it's been a little more than a year that I have been working at Realytics.
I've hesitated a lot…
The « Robert Redford nodding », a classic.
As a data analyst at Realytics, my first task is to accompany the advertisers in their drive to web campaign strategy, so they can optimise their campaigns and make sure their spots are broadcasted on the right channels, at the right moment and to the right audience.
But it's a lot more!
It's also research sessions with data scientists to provide our clients with more and more insights, co-creation of content with the marketing team, or even going to meetings with the sales team and answer with them to the questions of potential clients... That's what it is to be a media expert!
As soon as I get in the office, I put my Tupperware (no proceeds were received from this message!) in the fridge, because a delish little lunch kept fresh is for sure the promise of a great start to the afternoon (or a little nap...).
The challenge I encounter every day when analysing campaigns is to remain curious, because each advertiser has a specific drive to web behavior. In order to give the most precise and relevant insights possible, we must constantly see campaigns from a fresh perspective.
This behavior is mandatory, especially when beginning to analyse campaigns in new countries for the first time (Australia, Denmark, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.)
Well, I listen to my neighbor's music (Paul, if you are reading me... this one is for you).
These days, I listen to some hip-hop (Chance the Rapper, Mabel), but also folk/pop (Sfujan Stevens, Bon Iver, Angèle...). Eclectic but still pretty low-key.
A bottle of water. As our dear friend Jean-Claude Van Damme says "I love water. In 20 or 30 years, there won't be any of it anymore".
Simplicity, friendly, Fat Friday.
« C’est Vu » on France 2.
If you don't know what it is, it's a summary of what happened in France and in the world the day before, as seen by the French Television, and with images only.
Overall, I am a huge fan of Christmas ads (Apple, John Lewis...), so I'll say the last campaign of Intermarché, by Romance.
Well, I'll take advantage of this little tribune to say he's the best CEO of all time!
PS: Guillaume, if you're reading this... Please note that it's hard sometimes to make ends meet; plus it's Christmas really soon...
- No more war in the world
- The French Soccer Team world champions in July 18 (the World Cup!!), thanks to Karim Benzema.
- Infinite wishes
Pass it to one colleague!
I hand this interview to the best one of us, Maxence.
